The FIRST KINGThe very first discovery and identification of a Tyrannosaurus rex fossil was made in the American West over a century ago. The dinosaur's lower jaw bone and several vertebrae were brought back to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Most of that original specimen was never uncovered, and the location of the dig site has been forgotten. This documentary follows Thomas Kaye of Seattle's Burke Museum of Natural History as he attempts to piece together the mystery. |
